Sheer Veneer | Facility

	Facility We at Northern Sheer Veneer know, that as a veneer company we are dependent on sustainable natural resources and as such work to maintain a good symbiotic relation with nature. Because of this we try to reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible. Our building is constructed with in floor heating that is fueled by wood pellets which reduces our fuel consumption. Additionally we have occupancy sensor lights so that if some one does forget to turn of the lights they will shut off automatically saving more energy. We have also outfitted our building with T5CLS lights which save over 50% more energy than their predecessor the T12 fluorescent lighting systems reducing our carbon emissions. Another advantage we have over other companies is that our manufacturing process is chemical free, which means all of our by-product is biodegradable or can be easily recycled without damage to the environment, in fact we convert our wood byproduct into wood pellets, which are again used to heat our building during the cold Wisconsin winters reducing our dependence on fossil fuels and foreign oil.

	Some other things that reduce our energy consumption are the little things which also help make our product more unique, such as the fact that no sanding is used to make our ultra thin veneer, because of this we don’t use energy on sanding machines, and since we don’t create sawdust we don’t use energy on fans or vacuums to remove sawdust from the air. Second because we don’t use chemicals in fabricating our sheer veneer, we do not release any toxic fumes or volatile organic chemicals into the environment.
