At Northern Sheer Veneer we currently use Cherry, Maple, and White Birch to manufacture our veneer. We use these three species because they are sustained and made readily available by our local loggers. These varieties also provide some of the highest yield of desirable product for manufacturing, allowing us to give you a better price.

Because our veneer is so thin we can laminate it to a variety of backings such as white paper board, craft paper, latex paper and spantex paper to better fit your needs. By adding an extra step we can also make a double sided veneer with a poly liner, 5 millimeter latex or paper board in between for durability. We also offer a pressure sensitive adhesive and release liner so you can stick our veneer to several surfaces like metal, glass or plastic, or even other woods.

Additionally we can customize your order to other backing specifications such as vinyl, magnet strips, and many other materials you might want. Because we can produce our veneer similar to that of a job shop production, we can give our customers, custom orders depending on their manufacturing needs.
